The Story

When you want a GTI, but desire something more rare: The 2015 VW Golf Sportwagen TDI— aka the last one— is the perfect ride for you. After months of searching, I brought this car home and have been driving it ever since.

This car has been driven in more states than most people have been to (49 so far) and is my choice for the perfect roadtrip companion. Finished in Blue Silk Metallic over a Black/Grey interior with 18 inch Volkswagen Durban wheels, my wagon looks great while traveling too.

From the long straights of Route 66 to the curvy switchbacks of the Tail of the Dragon, my wagon has conquered it all with ease. It drives great and hasn’t let me down yet. Not to mention it’s not too bad to sleep in either.

The diesel powertrain gives me plenty of torque to make driving interesting, while saving my budget with great fuel economy too. Not to mention it is still under Volkswagen's extended diesel-gate warranty.
