The Story

This vehicle is my first car, and was bought Dec 28th, 2021 at 134,144 miles. I bought it from a VW tech who has owned plenty of GTI’s in his lifetime. This was his daily, a 2001 VW GTI with the 5spd VR6. Ignition wires and sparks were replaced during the 2022 summer, as well as the stock struts and springs. Pretty decent car to learn how things work on! The radiator, water pump, clutch, fans, AC compressor, belt tensioner, timing chain, coolant hoses, thermostat, and numerous other things had been replaced under the previous ownership.
