2022 Volkswagen Golf GTI

The Story

In January of 2022 after a 3 month wait (which would have been longer), I picked up this car. In November of 2021 my dealer made me an unbeatable offer for my 2017 GTI Sport, which I decided to take immediately and trade the car in. I drove my family’s beater BMW 328d for a while, and had an “order” for a 2022 GTI almost identical to the one I have here. After my dealer had no update for 3 months, I did one giant search of inventory at every east coast dealer, and found this car. The only reason it wasn’t sold, is because the dealer forgot to list it on cars.com, auto trader, even the VW inventory search on VW.com, this car wasn’t there. I immediately gave a call to the dealer, drove out, and put a deposit down to pick it up the next day. Now 6 months and 11k miles later, I can’t get enough of this car. I truly couldn’t be happier!
