2007 Volvo XC90

This is my first overlanding build. I've always loved hiking, camping, and outdoorsy adventures in general, but it wasn't until early pandemic days when I realized I kept wanting to drive further off the beaten path, which was pretty difficult to do in the Kia Forte I had...I traded that in and bought this old Volvo off a family member and the rest is history. I'm slowly upgrading parts to make it more off-road capable. Nothing too crazy, just to be able to go on slightly more difficult trails than I usually go on and to have that much more peace of mind while I go exploring. I also am in the process of setting up an apiary on some rugged land out in West Virginia. As I build my hives and mod my Volvo I'll have more capabilities to take care of my bees. I consider this a "budget" build. My upgrades are usually moving at the pace I can save for them, but also as I learn more about the various mods that will help me get the places I want to be.
