The Story

This Saab was introduced to me in April of 2021. Previously, I had a 2000 Saab 9-5 wagon as my first car, and I was in love. My previous partner had introduced me to the world of Saabs and how stubborn they can be. With all the persuasion to not get a Saab I still didn’t listen to him and bought my first Saab in May 2020. From there on I learned to work on cars and fall in love with them. It’s not just something to take you from point A to point B; it’s what you drive every day, it’s what people see you in every day. Your car is your second home, wether that’s driving to work or taking a road trip with your best friend. You make so many memories with your cars, and Saabs are a great car to make memories with. The Saab community is full of so many welcoming and friendly people, and the forums could go on and on about anything and everything with Saab. I’ve attended one Saab Owners Convention (2021) and it was a week to remember! However, my 09 wagon did not make it to the convention. When I first bought the car it had over 200,000 miles. So she’s was at the end of her time and had some issues where eventually the transmission failed. After a few months I had a shop rebuild the transmission, however the shop had returned the car to me with a seized motor. With one wall after another I just kept climbing. Thankfully, nearby in Connecticut was a donor car with the exact motor. The car was back up in running in September thanks to Precision Auto in Cranston, RI who did an amazing job! I now daily drive the car and make so many memories with it.
